Pastor Dave Canter ( second from left ) asked me if we would take out a boy in his parish and give him some shooting, over points as the boy had expressed an interst in the outdoor pursuits. Dr Bruce Muller was up hunting with me for a week, and I hunt with Pro wild bird trainner, Steve Levesque frequently also...so we all joined forces to give this 14 year old boy a day will will not soon forget. "Jeff" shot his first grouse over Wally in the am...we also shot some woodcock. We then took him pheasant hunting with CH Long Gone Boston and CH Doodle Ridge Jigs, together. Jigs and Boston pointed ( and backed ) for many, many, many pheasant finds for the boy. We would flush them right over his head...and Jeff could shoot a scattergun! 5 hunters equals 5 limits ( 10 ) in about an hour. Thank you Paster David for allowing us to be a part of "Jeffs " big day!

NH Fish and Game Bioligist, Andy Shaffermeyer ( middle ) asked me to bring up my setters to take out some Dartmouth Collage students ( bait and bullet club) and give them some wild bird shooting, in the 28,000 acre area know as "The Grant". This ground is all gated and by invite only. All four boys we took, shot their first wild birds. Here is "Mac" and "Julius", on eather side of Andy. We pointed 22 grouse and 12 woodcock, with Boston, Wally and Studley. In this picture is "Wally" with his students! Oct. 19, 2013

Second place dog, is by 2x CH Long Gone Boston and Long Gone Brie and has been winning all over New England with her 14 year old trainner and handler, Kelsey Dillinger . And they say trial dogs are to hard to handle?
