Old friend and former Stakes Manager of New England Open Grouse Championship “Bob Lang” came to visit us in Kilkenny last week. Tony Bly was this years Stakes Manager and I was Trial Chairman. As always it was a good time, enough grouse, good dogs and good people !
I had the honor of Judging “The Bill Kearns Memorial Open Derby Classic” with Kellie Hays. It was a good group of derbies !
Opening day color….gotta love this time of year !
Pickles ( my 10 month old pup) on her first opening day. We only hunted in the morning as it got hot in the afternoon but managed to move 8 grouse and 15 woodcock. ( we did not shot at any of the woodcock )
