After a day of grouse hunting with Tony Bly I was pulling into my driveway ( a long dirt road) and this grouse was crossing in front of me. Of course he is safe as I don’t shoot grouse around my house, I would prefer to see them !Can you see the grouse? There were actually 2 of them in the apple tree, but only one in the picture. Shot out my living room window/ Dec. 2021This picture was shot from my bathroom, zoomed on my phone so not real clear, but you can imagine how surprised I was seeing these 4 grouse feeding in this bush in my back yard/ late Dec. 2021A spruce grouse in the road in front of Tony’s truck/ late Dec. 2021/ grouse hunting still as we had hardly any snow. These are protected in NH.
