Last week my family and I went to see The Portland Seadogs at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine, the Boston Red Sox double A affiliate. I wanted to see the top prospect in their system, the highly touted, Marcelo Mayer. His signing bonus was well over 6 million dollars, so I guess he is going to be a good one! I remember going over to see Rafael Devers play at double A, and look at where he is !
Yesterday, July 25th Tony and I went into one of our training covers for the first time this year. The woods are incredibly thick! Here is a shot of Ricky being backed by my DeQuan, the woodcock was to Ricky’s left.
My June Bug pointing a woodcock yesterday 7/25. We were pleasantly surprised at the number of birds, we moved 20 woodcock,( no grouse ) but again, it was THICK!
