Long Gone Juniper pointing a woodcock, Tonys “Max” dog is backing yesterday Sept. 13. We had a lot of work on woodcock in this workout with both dogs having multiple finds and backs. I just want to mention that old friends Deb and Jim Kennedy came up the day before and I met them at Long Gone Kennels after working dogs in the am with Tony. Deb brought me some “Squeakers” ( young pigeon’s ) and some quail for my puppy “Pickles”. So I took her out on wild birds as her quide and her setter female MaKeechie had about 9 finds. My female puppy “Pickles” on point in my bird field yesterday 9/13/23. She is by DeQuan out of a winning daughter of CH Long Gone Porky out of RU Grouse CH Long Gone Juicy. It is a good thing these quail can fly well as Pickles really gives them a ride when they get airborne !!!!!!!
